"My works attempt to synthesize painting, screen printing, digital printing, collage, and video, and as such they may be envisaged as a mirror reflecting the diversity of conceptual, theoretical, and applied arts. The works may be also grasped as a continues research of ethnology, ornamentation, abstract art, pop culture, computer, and digital aesthetics, avoiding any definition. Methodologically, the style refers both to traditional and contemporary expressions. The paintings involve the creation of colorful, abstract surfaces built by systematic and chaotic repetition of colors and shapes. Every work has its systematic formal sentences, which go along with a free improvisation. The systematic aspect is related to the digital aesthetic, while improvisation is mostly expressed on the canvas. Thus, there is a usage of computation on one part, and the maintenance of tradition on the other. In addition to the polarities of system and chaos, digital and traditional aesthetics, there are other polarities as: The static ≠ the dynamic; the handmade ≠ the print-out; polychromatic ≠ monochromatic color scales. The play of polarities is a metaphor of the belief in both seen and unseen ever existent unity in diversity. The effortful attempt to refer to diversity and unity requires lack of hierarchy and separation. Therefore, I tend to use the search engine as an endless archive that offers infinite links. In other words, the system of the search engine, serves as means to serendipity and to the emergent of multiple images, while not imposing any fixed narrative or absolute conclusion. This nonmethodic method, enables the rise of an artistic awareness enchanted by a disorienting reality."
